Racing Post rules

Hi

I thought you might like some background on the Racing Post
and its approach to proofing. The rules supplied by the Racing
Post indicate that it is not a proofing service in the strict sense -
rather they provide this service, it would seem, to prospective
tipsters wishing to advertise.

Here are a few of the more interesting points from the Racing
Post:

- Racing Post should not be used or quoted in any
advertisement or correspondence to substantiate clams
made by information services.

- All bets must be proofed by email to
proofing@racingpost.co.uk.

- Tipsters must not, under any circumstances refer to Racing
Post in any literature outside Racing Post publications.
Breach of this agreement could result in possible legal action
and suspension of advertising.

- The Racing Post and its associated publications do not
provide an industry database. Only current advertisers or
those genuinely interested in advertising should proof to
the Racing Post.

The above should give you something to look at when you
receive the mailings of these lovely generous tipsters. Let's take
a recent example of MrJonathanWells

He states:

'Every day I fax the Racing Post with all my information
providing the UK's top trade newspaper with advance notice of
all my gambles' BUT the Racing Post insist 'ALL BETS MUST
BE PROOFED BY EMAIL'

MrWells continues:

'The best way to prove myself is to proof my selections to the
sport's most highly rated independent authority, The Racing
Post' BUT the Racing Post insist 'Racing Post should not be
used or quoted in any advertisement or correspondence to
substantiate clams made by information services.'

And they hammer this home even further'

'Tipsters must not, under any circumstances refer to Racing Post
in any literature outside Racing Post publications. Breach of this
agreement could result in possible legal action and suspension of
advertising.'

MrWells emblazons his mail drop with the Racing Post's
distinctive logo (despite it being in the wrong font!)

As you can see, armed with the 4 points from The Racing Post's
rules and regulations regarding proofing, you can distinguish the
less than scrupulous from the genuine at a glance.

I hope this will be of some use to you in the future. Indeed, if
you'd like me to send you the Racing Post's advertising and
proofing rules for some exciting bedtime reading, or at least to
arm yourself with the truth to distinguish the not-so-truth of
tipster's mailings I'd be happy to do so.

SCOTT 'not-so' WHITE (allegedly)

Another tipster has arrived who, once you're on board, asks you
to placed bets with your money on his behalf. Again, I have
highlighted this practice previously, and it is a lose-lose situation
for you but a win-win for the proponent. If the horse wins, you're
then asked to forward the winnings. If the horse loses, you are
burdened with the lost stake. Please, please do not get involved
with this type of scheme - it's just a way for one person to,
effectively, have free bets at your expense.

JUMPS ARE HERE

The transition to the jumps has passed over this past week, and I
must admit its hit my weblog form intermittently. This and the
prospect of soft and heavy ground makes things difficult when
looking to analyse races. I hope this will pass as I have been in
cracking form of late, banging in some big priced handicap
winners.

I did notice McCoy returned to action with 2 out of 2 - he has
that uncanny ability to actual lift a horse over the finishing line -
I bet he eats his Weetabix followed by 3 Shredded Wheat - what
a class act!

HTB for football

Bank now up to £339.98 after last weeks' winners and midweek
bet on Real Madrid in the Champions League - guess it's time to
flick through those Bentley catalogues! This week's selections
Milan v Siena at 1/6, Gretna v Airdrie United at 1/4, and
Manchester United at home to Newcastle at 1/3. Stakes now
£313.33 and potential winnings a massive £39.99 this week
(dreams of villas in Portugal!)

There are a couple of fair bets for me this weekend in Lyon away
at 1/2, and I will chance an under 2.5 goals trade in the Chelsea
v AstonVilla game - perhaps it'll be a closer game than the odds
would have us believe.

SYSTEMS ROUND UP

Signposts to Success hasn't begun yet - have to wait for the
jumps to really get into full swing. The bismarx bot is
surprisingly stable and effective, although I am only using its
paper trading function. It augurs well for the future, provided
there are no glitches, which there haven't been yet. One to keep
an eye on for sure.

The 30 Seconds Tennis System is reaching its target strike rate at
present and thus profiting, so with all the world wide
tournaments this could be a good thing for the future - a proper
analysis will follow in the next newsletter.

WILLIAMHCLARKE'S MASTERPLAN

Not quite a masterplan! Since I've started monitoring it we've
had one winner at 5/2 (whoopee!) At the cost of the system, it's
definitely one to keep off the Christmas list at present, although
should poor results continue, in this age of recycling, it could
make a particularly effective lay system. This is taking into
account the instructions which are written in a style only of use
to those with expanding brains. Why oh why, if you're going to
charge £3400.

Don't you take the time and effort to come up with a class
product worthy of customers' consideration?

RECENT SHOPS
I've just ordered a copy of www.winvest.co.uk - yes he made
£335,000 in a few days - in fact it was £335,871 starting with just
£3100 and 10 hours work over 30 days - so I had to buy it, as you
can imagine. I'll be receiving it soon so let's see eh? What
intrigues me about this is the following:

'Quite simply, that's all you need to do, just place one bet per
day. You pick the most profitable bet of each day and put all of
your betting bank on the nose! And before you shout - hey that's
like putting all your eggs in one basket - well to use another
analogy, I'm going to teach you how to count your chickens
before they hatch!

You see there is a way that you can place a bet over the Internet
that takes just a few minutes to do each day and no matter what
the outcome of that bet, no matter who wins or who loses, you
are guaranteed to win'

Hmmmmmmm!

http://dataking1.com/ features a certain JamesJary stood next to
his brand new Merc (nice motor guv'nor!) and he's banking
between £315,000 and £327,000 per month and 'it takes me just 2
to 3 hours a week'. I'll have some of that, so have decided to
invest in this system, and am awaiting the dvd's to arrive in the
next few days and this is through laying only , so I'm very keen
to get this underway and report back to you as quickly as
possible.

http://www.footballsystem.co.uk/ offers a new concept in
football betting systems - I'll be putting this through its paces in
the coming weeks. Having initially read the e-books, it is a very
involved system and I was tempted to contact my brainiac
friends Carol and StephenHawking, but will try to absorb it in a
few more readings. This system provides a calculator which
pinpoints good bets for the weekend so I can get started on this at
least and let you know. I'd love to be able to replicate their £3322
profit for a £320 bet - let's see if it can be done!

Plenty to keep me busy this weekend.

But wait, there's more!

I've got something very exciting I want to share with
you about compounding and progressive staking - look out for
something from me later today . . .

Until then

Clive
