Could you take the test?

Hello

Well this week has been mostly concerned
with trialing the Sequencer to see if his
methodology can be translated into wonga.
Since 1st August we experienced 7 winning
days, and on the 8th day we started to share
with a number of testers - resulting in 1 out
of 3 winning days ( isn't it always the
way... do fantastic then when you share
with others it all goes pear shaped). The
betting gods don't seem to be smiling on us
at the moment. Yesterday a 3/1 selection
went down by a neck - this would have been
a real boon to the betting bank, but you get
nothing for neck seconds alas! This is a
month long trial so we have plenty of
breathing space in which to engineer a
profit, so I remain optimistic.

TESTERS WANTED

I would be interested in hearing from
anyone who will be prepared to trial some
systems I have purchased on a mystery shop.
You must be willing to keep accurate
records of bets placed and also offer some of
your own insights into the system, and
report back to me weekly with a synopsis of
the week gone by. I hope, by using some
other people, to gain an alternative
perspective on a variety of systems, as well
as gaining an insight into the workability of
systems for potential customers. So get in
touch. I have systems covering horse racing
backing and laying, trading the financial
markets and greyhounds.

Thanks must go to those of you who have
offered feedback and advice regarding the
texas hold em - it's very useful and much
appreciated.

TEXAS HOLD EM

My adventures continue with some
noticeable coups - turning £31000 into
£317000 ( alas this is virtual money, so I'm
taking a virtual holiday to virtual Barbados
with the virtual winnings!) It's a game
where learning is continuous, and as I meet
different players who go all in with a pair of
2's, I am learning patience and scratch my
head at times! The sky coverage also helps,
and reinforces that you do need a nod and a
wink from lady luck and good old fashioned
nerves of steel at times. I'll be doing an
article in a future edition and welcome any
readers' advice - I know there are those
amongst you with greater knowledge and
experience.

MONEY TALKS!

I think it's an opportune time to talk about
following the cash in live horse racing
markets, and I will be covering this, in its
various formats in August's newsletter. We
can unearth stable gambles, and stable lay
gambles. Using fairbot's price graphs on
betfair 10 minutes before a race starts, we
can see when a market hot pot is being laid
as if it was ridden by JohnMcCrirrick with
MichelleMcManus on his shoulders! These
drifts can be unerringly accurate and we can
exploit them. Similarly, there are ways to
unearth some juicy priced quietly fancied
horses who go under the radar of most
punters. These fancied horses are revealed
on the tote, the bookmaker's market and
betfair, and I'll be revealing all soon .

The 16/1 system you will be familiar with,
and it pointed to a great each way selection
yesterday in By Storm, 25/1 in the betting
forecast, opening up at 16/1 in the live
betting market. A £310 each way bet returned
£3140 for the horse coming 2nd! A great result
from a 16/1 horse which was clearly fancied
by someone (and the bookies took the
inevitable action b reduces the price without
alerting the general punting public)

With 3 more jockeys charged with laying
certain rides and passing on information to
3rd parties, I do get suspicious at times when
I see a short priced favourite take, not just a
walk, but a run(!) in the market.

FOOTY

I'm still keeping my powder dry for the
premiership to begin, but there's nothing
stopping you getting yourself a fixed odds
coupon and placing some "virtual"
permutation bets - practice practice practice
is the key. I would not get involved in
friendly matches if I was you, however
obvious the winning team MAY be. (I
remember a recent match where Bayern
Munich lost to some lowly Japanese side in
a pre season friendly so beware) One match
which has tickled my interest is Accrington
Stanley's home game. Back in the football
league, I'll chance them to win their first
match at home tomorrow. This is the only
real game of interest tomorrow for me.

COMPOUNDING

I must apologise for the stop start to the
compounding. The sequencing has taken all
my attention, but I'm tying to keep on top of
it by chosing horses I believe will drop in
price before their race starts. Today I'm
looking at Windsor knot with Frankie on
board, in the hope people will back because
it's Godolphin and because it's Frankie.
There are a multitude of ways to reach your
2% daily, and it's only limited by your
imagination. My preferred method is to us
an application such as Fairbot and follow
their price graphs which take the guess work
out of seeing which way the market will go,
and hopefully riding the crest of a horse
which is being slidly backed, or following a
drifting horse in the hope we are catching
the price drift early. It has been an
invaluable tool. I always try to get out of
these trades, preferably with a green screen
before the race turns in running.

SPREADBETTING

Having done some interesting reading on the
subject, this could be the season where I
look into spread betting as it applies to
football matches. The potential profits from
this form of betting are far greater than can
be achieved through fixed odds betting, but
with potential greater profits comes
attendant greater risk. I'll do some more
digging on this. There is no real " systems"
for sports spreadbetting out there in the
market, which indicates it is a very flexible
betting tool to be used when the best
opportunity arises. At this moment in time, I
feel that spread betting goal supremacy on
teams such as Barcleona, Fenerbache, and
Galatasary over a season will be productive.
I need to do a lot more research for you, and
hope to be able to unearth some key
elements to help profit.

There are a lot more elements to the football
betting market which needs to be covered,
from asian handicap betting, to profiting
from the multitude of permutations we can
use on the long list, to the pools and using
block perms to find those elusive score
draws ,so I've got plenty to keep me off the
streets!.

Have a great weekend and good punting.

Until next time,

Clive
