I made it back . . . just!

Hi

What a return journey it was - lost (or stolen?)
debit cards left me with just 20 euro to get
back to Killarney from Cork. I tried everything,
Kelly Brook promised me a limo but strangely
it didn't turn up!

I managed to procure a bus ticket and am now
back in Killarney, avoiding 3 car accidents on
the way thanks to the black ice. Who's idea
was it to move to Killarney? I'm sure it was
meant to be St Kitts!

Anyway, lots to do this week with my "proper"
PC returned to me - it's a chance to catch up
on all the systems and emails. I am really
looking forward to seeing which have
performed so I can pass them on to you. I will
be looking especially at the football systems I
am trialing.

This time of year can be very frustrating for all
horse racing systems thanks o ground which,
at best, is soft but which is more likely to be
soft to heavy. This does not paint a realistic
picture for any system whose trials start at
this time of year. This must be accounted for
in evaluating these systems' worth - hence the
focus on the footy.

With intermittent broadband in Guernsey I
have a backlog of emails to answer which I'll
work through today while watching premiership
teams stumble in the FA Cup!

The blog's back up today with broadband more
regular, and again, I'm reluctant to get
involved in horse racing with heavy ground
today so have focused largely on the FA Cup -
my faith is being put in the Premiership sides,
albeit at short odds. Watch in glee as another
accumulator of mine fails miserably!

So, there'll be more substance next week as I
get back on track after more mulled wine than
I care to mention!

Have a great week

Clive
