Back into the swing of thingsHi,
An interesting week this week with some very entertaining Carling Cup games - probably the most entertaining Carling Cup semi finals in the world! I have discovered the "Winning Margin" bets on Betfair and they do interest me. Why? Well if you can, for instance , dutch the 0 goals and 1 goals ( as I managed to do in the Chelski v Everton game). You will profit if the score is 0-0, 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4- 4, 1-0, 0-1, 2-1, 1-2, 3-2, 2-3 etc. I have tried this bet on selected games and profited because odds have generally been 2.4 and 3.6, allowing level stakes betting , or altering stakes to pay an equal amount. This winning margin bet is worthy of future investigation I think. Also this week I have had a couple of readers contact me regarding my blog trading bets - I called under 2.5 goals in the Chelsea v Everton game , so why was I declaring the bet a winner when the score was 2-1? Similarly, I called over 2.5 goals in the Sevilla v Barcelona game, but why did I declare this game a winner on the blog despite the 1-1 scoreline. Well, you see, it revolves around one word. This reader used the word "BET", I used the word "trade" in my advices on the blog and the website - a huge difference in mentality when trading. Let's take the Chelsea game: 1-1 until the 92nd minute - there was ample time before the 90th minute to have traded out of the under 2.5 goals market which you would have backed previously, as odds for under 2.5 goals would have reflected the fact the game was nearly over. Those who just keep the bet going are gambling and not trading. Similarly, Sevilla v Barcelona at half time was 1-1. 1 more goal required to bring home the bacon, BUT from a trading perspective, surely we could trade out of our backing of over 2.5 goals as market makers (you and me) on Betfair are assuming 1 more goal will be scored with a further 45 minutes to go. So it's not all about the final score - it's about getting the opportunity to get the hell out of there when you can preferably with a green screen. WEBSITE - TASTIC Yes those of you who joined the website solely to access my collection of Kelly Brook bikini photos would be sorely disappointed thus far and I can only apologise. BUT I have included, as scant consolation, 2 reader's systems - the best 2 on recent performance ,for you to inspect on a daily basis using a virtual £1000 betting bank. I am sure you will find it interesting following these 2 better performers, and remember this is exclusive to you. Recent performance has blown so called professionals out of the water. Go directly to the site to check them out: http://www.whatreallywinsmoney If any other readers have their own systems which they would like to open up to reader scrutiny via the website then please get in touch. I will need you to write a background on your system along with money management to be utilised. So get in touch at the usual email address. ****************************** GET COMPLETE ACCESS TO MY TIPS, REVIEWS, BLUEPRINTS AND BLOG ****************************** Get instant access to What Really Wins Money Today! If you haven't already checked out my brand new website - you should! You'll find my daily blog, betting, trading and gambling reviews, blueprints and updates plus my entire back issue archive! Take a look now: http://www.whatreallywinsmoney ****************************** THE BROOKES THESAURUS SECTION Yes master Brookes has not rested on his laurels and has released 2 ebooks already this year (that thesaurus he got from his Gran is really going to be put through its paces this year to find yet more absurd titles for his ebooks). Now if anyone has purchased them I am willing to share the cost in order to glance over them (I suppose I have to stay on top of his many thousands of releases because of his wide marketing campaigns (and concomitant feedback from readers) although personally I suspect there's more marketing than substance to the ebooks) - so drop me a line THIS IS FREE - THE RIGHT PRICE! Here's a little freebie for you from Daniel Soulsby at compiler systems - it's a simple little roulette strategy which has some potential. I tried it in Betfair's Casino and made some £38 very quickly, although I must add here that you shouldn't get greedy with this strategy and look to win a nominal pre determined amount and then get the hell out of there! I am still suspicious of online casino software - the old X Files. Can they actually determine a pattern in individual play, coax you in to increasing stakes then come up with some, ahem, surprising results which quickly diminish your betting bank? Will Mulder and Scully help me find out? It's a simple and logical strategy and I guess is something that can prove beneficial if being used in conjunction with casino bonuses - so I would recommend you use the strategy with sign on bonuses at casinos - OPM - other people's money! Google 'casino bonuses' and find a suitable casino or go to the casino mentioned in the ebook. The price is right - it's free! So have a look - have a play with it and see if you can use the strategy as a platform to come up with something of your own! For me it looks a good strategy to actually try and win your target profit per day ( along with tefal head's staking strategy?) http://www.onlinecasinocash.co is the link so take a look! PLACE ONLY BETTING Now available with all races on http://www.betfair.com it's a pity that you have to - quite obviously - follow the live market to take advantage of the in running facilities in the place only markets. These markets look ideal for trading small price movements. One strategy I use is to open 2 Fairbot screens - one screen is for the win only market and the other screen is for the place only market. The win only market gives an overall picture of the race, and the great thing about Fairbot is that it can show you who is 1st, 2nd or 3rd at a glance. Take a quick look in the place only market and back the horse with most money waiting to back it. I use this to trade rather than to keep the bet running as a straight gamble. It has proved very consistent, but profits are small but regular. BETFAIR SP A thought crossed my mind that perhaps there was a way of implementing a 16/1 type system to Betfair SP prices when compared to the live betting market? Betfair SP prices are odds provided by Betfair prior to racing. Can they be used as a comparator with live market prices to determine potential gambles? From another perspective can we do a reverse 16/1 system to determine good lays? Instead of looking for odds reducing between the betting forecast and the live betting market, why not look for odds increasing in the live market when compared to the racing post betting forecast. I believe there is definite potential with the advantage that we have the latest information rather than relying on mechanical systems and the inflexibility which comes with these methods. I'll work on something, so as my great showbiz pal Kirsty Wark would say "More on that later" http://www.betplanner.co.uk After a reader recommendation I have managed to blag en extended trial with this service which looks to be run very professionally - if the profits of the reader to date can be replicated then you'll be the first to know of course. I have a good feeling about this service after correspondence with the vendor . As Gary Megson would say, though - "this is a results business!" I'm off now - this week is newsletter week so I'll be locked in my room with my team of workers (erm, me actually) siphoning the best performers so we can start the new year with a bang - have a great weekend and don't forget the blog - it may give you some ideas on backing this weekend. If you don't already get my newsletter, check out: http://www.whatreallywinsmoney Until next time, Clive |
