Broadband issues today thanks to the weather here in Ireland means I cannot doa review of yesterday-the wepages take an agetodownload.
DONCASTER-Good ground and an inspection this morning.
1250 - big field with 2 prominent market leadersin Rippling Ring and Kalahari Kingbut we have a field of 17 runners and I personally have a question mark over the ground -I don't believe the "good" forecast in the RAcing Post.
Russian Invader is an obvious each way alternative but I think that given the race type( ie good class) and the jockey /trainer combos on the markret leaders I will level stakes bet the 2 market leaders. Prices on all other horses indicate they are making up the numbers .
NOTE - if the ground is soft or heavy at Donny today all bets become void for me.
125 - again given the quality pof the race, Lesling Taylor and Tidal BAy are level stakes dutchable with a slight loss on Tidal BAy.ALternatively place only on Lesling taylor given field size ( 2 the place) may eek out a bit more of a return.
155 - place only for me on Celestial HAlo OR back to monitor in running in a race he should win if he is to have any aspirations of winning at CHeltenham
LINGFIELD
140 - a 3 horse race and a simple case of probability-Susthorm and the JAiler for me - a case of backing 2 of 3 and hoping for the best - again level stakes
SANDOWN
205 - Straw BEar and Afsoun - simple choice of 2 4/6 and 6/4 means they take up the majoritu of the market. Again level stakes may be an option here although with broadband problems I cannot check the Betfair prices. - could be a simple toss of the coin -place only betting is another option
WETHERBY - SOFT - HEAVY IN PLACES
115 - 2 market leaders but a mares hurdle so Bebedash and Lady each way for me - I don't trust the ladies!
FOOTY
Kilmarnock v Celtic is likely to be another tight affair with Killie having home advantage - I'll back under 2.5 goals for the first 20 minutes in the expectation of a tight early game.
I expect the Arse to break City's home run and ata shade of odds on they will have my support (again we can trade)
Similarly Brum v Derby - I have been impressed with Brum of late ,and at home they look strong . This is likely ,for me to be another tight game with so much at play for Brum at least - under 2.5 goals trade?
Spurs v Man Utd -a replication of the most recent game? I'll go for that - Man Utd seemed to have too much for the Spuds and at 3/1 they are worth laying for me .
Porto this evening looks a good half time/full time Porto/Porto punt given they're at home.
I can't give my usual stats etc today because of broadband issues and the length of time taken to download sites - I would dearly like to do a mug punter acca but can't download the site at present.
Cautious day for me given I am slightly "blinded" by the inability to use the internet properly for proper research .
