Help! I'm drowning in a sea of systems!Hi
An interesting week this week with the newsletter in full flow and a review of systems collected over the month. The Mafiosi Betfair and Cash Generator systems I got last week are a little complicated at first reading so I have hired a NASA scientist to take me through in preparation for next month's newsletter. My brain hurt at the first sitting. They are probably very simple to follow but the writer's attempt to convey their messages could be a lot easier. This early flat season malarkey is getting the old grey matter working - it's difficult for me to get an angle in, because the lesson to learn from this week is to watch the live market in these early races, especially the maiden races. Some of my early blog selections have been victims of 16/1 system bets and with this in mind flexibility is key. My selections are my strong ones at time of writing but 16/1 system bets, if significant, should supersede any other bets, as these are the bets with the most recent money action. Does the arrival of Newmarket signal a start of the flat proper? I hope so - these transitional periods are terrible! A look at the services that are falling by the wayside backs this up. Over here in Ireland, and Ballydoyle are in full flow, but backing their early season starters will leave you at the Ballydole! I have no doubt that with more favourable ground the O'Brien/Murtagh partnership can start profiting, and I have an inkling this season that Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen will be another partnership to prosper! Well, what's in the newsletter this month - it's really a focus on readers systems this month with a number of good consistent services dreamt up by readers and an interesting target profit per day system which has made the inventor a pretty penny. There's also a couple of backing systems with real promise and which tick all of the "ideal" boxes - you can make selections the night before - no fancy staking plans (although these must not be dismissed) -and my favourite - no fecking form analysis! HOORAY! ************Advertisement ************** This 'CRACK-IN-THE-SYSTEM' drip-feeds tax-free sums into your bank account - day-after-day, month-after-month, year-after-year... I've managed to extract a footy system that I will be monitoring in the new season from those, ahem, geniuses who post on the Betfair forums. Their combined brainpower makes Jade Goody look like Stephen Hawking, but my occasional forays into the forum can unearth systems. So here's the one "exposed" on the forum. Back 3 teams in a treble. These 3 teams must be home teams. 2 of the teams must be priced at 1 / 2 (or a derivative thereof e.g. 4/7, 8/15) and the 3rd team must be priced 1/3 (or a derivative thereof e.g. 4/11, 2/5, 4/9). The idea is that, as a treble, the combined odds are 2/1. The forumites advised loss retrieval if the treble doesn't come in - JUST winning back stakes and no target profit in a betting cycle of 3 bets. My first foray came in as those on the blog can attest. There is some degree of sense about this system, although it was slated by many forumites (who, I suspect, couldn't be arsed to try it out). The success of this system, I feel, will be down to game selection. E.g. would you want to back a Blue Square team or a Scottish 3rd Division team at 1/ 2 or would you prefer a premiership/Serie A/La Liga team at 1/ 2? I think you know the answer. So do pop along to the Betfair forums especially the General Betting arena, and if you can wade your way through the banality and FREE MONEY 100% GUARANTEED BANKER threads, you'll find some decent threads. It will certainly be interesting seeing this system perform in the new season to come. The end of the footy system is nigh and millions of men will be sitting in front of blank TV screens in May and June - or will they - EURO 2008 saves our bacon - another HOORAY! I do like these tournaments and feel they are ideal betting opportunities. There are many angles in, including outright tournament betting, group stage betting (dutching an option here?) and traditional live in running trading. I'll be keeping an eye on the England boys because I feel we could win it this year (erm, sorry to break the news but they cocked it up under Steve McClown - the Ed) - DAMN! Oh well, I'll have to follow the Irish boys (er, they didn't make it either - the Ed) DAMN! Still there'll be plenty of teams to follow. Will Ronaldo keep the goal scoring form up? Could be a decent golden boot bet? Croatia look like the dark horses - will Italy be Chelsea like - 1-0, 2- 0 and sit back and defend? Can't wait. Look out for the specialist supplements and websites which will be great research tools for you. As Jethro from the Fast Show would say " This week I will be mostly...putting the finishing touches to the newsletter". I do hope to sneak in the odd footy match (don't tell the bossman!) Short and sweet this week because of the newsletter. Hope you have a great weekend! Clive |
