Day started well with Spanish Moon winning, Buster Hyvonen and He both 2nd and 3rd for each way backers, Bidalia lost, and at Haydock in an original 17 runner field paying 4 the place on betfair, the 3 pipe horses came 2nd, 3rd and 4th - how frustrating but stakes pretty much returned! Ice queen lost, Allessandro Volta won and guess who came 2nd , yes the other O'Brien horse King of Rome at 16/1 - see why I advocate blanket backing - nice each way return paying 2 the place!
Tiger Dream just held on leaving 4/11 backers wanting a change of underwear! Mixed bag in the footy with unders coming in the Palace game ( despite final score 2-1 unders reached 1.14 so no excuses not to trade) and Ebbsflleet 1-0 produced another unders winner.
Not so the Rangers game - Lyon halft time full time faltered but enhanced bets cold be used as I got 1.80 for a 1.41 shot in running and they obliged again
Killarney on today but an impossible card so i will stay at home!
255 LEOPARDSTOWN
Bashikirov and Theocritus for the 2 Irish connections - may be dutchable
325 - Mutakarrim at 12/1 for Weld

BETTING FORECAST: 5/4 Washington Irving, 9/4 Moiqen, 4/1 Hebridean, 6/1 Casual Conquest, 20/1 Matters At Hand, 25/1 Hindu Kush.
5 horses connected with O'Brien and Weld - Washington irving is fav at 11/10 with Moiquen breathing down his next - in a race where Hebridean might be a non runner, I'll chance Washington at odds against - fancy speculation - well the other Irish connection horses are juicy prices!
425 - Caribbean Sunset
525 - BETTING FORECAST: 4/5 Haradasun, 9/2 Lord Admiral, 5/1 Tian Shan, 8/1 Billyford, 10/1 Ferneley, Summit Surge, 20/1 Excelerate.
hardasun to win and Tian Shan each way

BETTING FORECAST: 11/10 Pterodactyl, 7/4 Haddaaf, 5/1 Backstage, 16/1 Freeze Up, 20/1 Danny Zuko, Pipers Legend, 25/1 Alfloramoor, 100/1 Aviemore, Ground Breaker, Hoofbeats Tour, The Power Of Phil, Triel, Weet For Ever

|
| SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Drying ground should not trouble Haddaaf, but PTERODACTYL (nap) is getting plenty of weight from him courtesy of his excellent rider's claim and can make amends for his unfortunate defeat at Towcester |
Pterodactyl is a non runner - can we then assume that this will gift the race to Haddaaf with Backstage the main concern?
230
BETTING FORECAST: 8/11 Spare Cash, 9/4 Fourty Acers, 10/1 Pams Oak, 16/1 Just Talking, 20/1 All About Trigger, Ashby Jo, 25/1 Patsy Finnegan, 33/1 The Sneakster, 100/1 Darnay´s Breeze, William The Bloody
.
|
|
| SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Spare Cash should win if showing his form but the ground is a big issue and his well-known relative D'Argent has never raced on anything faster than good during his career. FOURTY ACERS is the standout alternative, as he seems to go on anything and ran respectably on his return to hurdling at Bangor |
With Just talking out, does Pams Oak come into play each way with question marks from Spotlight regarding Spare Cash? Not form based at all but probability that Pams Oak will place at least in a race where it's still 3 the place
FOOTY
The Sun is shining, the lakes are glimmering and the NAtional Park at Killarney is beautfiul so what will I do today - sit infront of the fecking telly with my laptop and Betfair up !
1200 Watford v Hull in the playoffs and yesterday and the day before the teams least likely have come out winners - Bristol, Ebbsfleet and Darlington. Will this continue today . 11/8 and 7/4 can't really separate the teams so neutral under 2.5 goals Jimmy Saville jangle jangle nerves should ensure a tight affair.
Next on the list comes Celtic who MUST win, they simply must with Rangers winning their last 2 games ( despite Leveine's attempt to swell the coffers in the swear jar)
Hibs seem to have been a pain in the arse for Celtic over the years

Celtic at home have either won or drawn, and their latest match away to Hibs could point the way to today's score. Half time/full time Break even on Celtic/Celtic and profit loaded on Draw/Celtic has a good chance of coming off.
You could have normally relied on Brum for the unders at home, but historically games with Blackburn Rovers have been over 2.5 goals. Will this be the case though in the first half, allowing a trade of unders? I will actually back over 2.5 goals here again with trading in mind. Blackburn look like they can score, and if scoring first, Brum MUST attack
Chelsea at 1.18 says it all, and the odds can be enhanced by the half time full time 1.59.
1/8 indicates goals for the home side, but Chelsea rarely give out spankings. Normally with a 1/8 shot I would be looking at the over 3.5 goals market at 2.54 which really enhances the 1.18! Again fully tradeable so if it looks tight we can always bail out
Derby's last home game is against Reading who couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo - but needs must eh? 4/7 is short about such a side in poor form. Under 2.5 goals trading I think would be safer
Pompey v Fulham - the papers are full of it - the Pompey price is too big to ignore - well I'm going to go over 2.5 goals here again with an eye on trading.
Wigna v united is intriguing. But history points to United taking the points easily. They have managed to score 2 and 3 regularly against Wigan both home and away Over 2.5 goals could be the way again looking at previous results , and bear in mind this is a MUST WIN or fail to win the Premiership and United have the chance to bag a brace admittedly against an improving side
