The Arthur Daley of dinosaur fossilsHi,
Well, I've discovered my "inner tourist" this week
thanks to the arrival of Lesley in Ireland as part of
her tour of Europe, visiting old friends after her
move to Australia. (don't tell Kelly!)
What a week . . .
Ring of Kerry -DONE!
Dingle - DONE!
Night out with Traditional Irish Music - DONE!
Guinness consumption to boost the GDP of Ireland
- DONE!
Some superb scenery and interesting places along
the way. Did you know the biggest Woolly
Mammoth skull was in some bloke's house in the
Kerry Peninsular? No me neither. He's turned his
house into a museum - he was the Arthur Daley of
Dinosaur fossils. He actually had a copy of Stephen
Brookes' first ebook " Woolly Mammoth Profits
Uncovered System X" which was written on
papyrus and promised, for 37 shekels, to show you
how to win in Woolly Mammoth racing which was
popular in caveman times!
Now it's back to work. So apologies if emails
haven't been answered - I am climbing that
particular Everest over the coming days. I have
managed to collect my Racing Post's daily so I can
keep an eye on the betting systems that I'm testing
and trialling.
On the betting front, well did you use the
Champions League Cash machine, better known as
backing under 2.5 goals in the semi finals (this
actually applied well to Rangers matches in the
UEFA cup) - so strong is this trend and the trend
amongst the teams that this can be approached as a
NO trade bet - just bet and go and get a decent
return.
With Man Utd playing Chelsea in the Final, dare I
say that under 2.5 goals will be THE bet again
(although we must remember the different dynamics
of this game - NO away goals and 2 leg games
which are perfect ingredients for under 2.5 goals.)
I'm looking forward to it and a hopeful 70% return
on investment (posh way of saying this is odds on!)

SYSTEMS SYSTEMS SYSTEMS
New systems are flooding in - latest I've got my
hands on is Refuse to Lose, and I've spoken about
these apparent high strike rate systems before -
remember? If a backing system has a high strike
rate then it's either 1) a scam 2) some form of
dutching 3) uses loss retrieval staking. Refuse to
lose is 2) and 3)
So in future, you can determine, from the marketing
copy and strike rate on the websites, that these
systems will involve an element of 2) and 3) (and
hopefully NOT 1!)
What will this tell you then? It tells you that you
must follow the live racing, and you must be
reactive to previous results so is not a bet and go
strategy. I'm amazed that this system has made no
mention of software such as Fairbot which will do
all calculations for you from a dutching perspective
instead of living in caveman times and trying to do
the calculations manually.
It will be interesting to see if the claimed 80% strike
rate will continue so I look forward to testing this
and must thank the reader for forwarding a copy for
me to trial
MDL Betting has not recommenced since the
vendor has been in hospital and moneybacktips
main guy is now in hospital - these tipsters seem to
be an error prone bunch (funny though that Stephen
Brookes hasn't met with any accidents yet!)
I have now joined www.punterprofits.com and hope
to report on that by next newsletter.
I've nearly blagged
www.theprofessionalpunter.com but again, it's a
Brookes thing if you look at the cloned website so I
won't be trying too hard (I'm actually happy with
Woolly Mammoths Profits Uncovered System X -
at least I'm not losing any money with that one!)
He's now bumped up prices to £42 from £37 - still
he'll not be getting anymore of my money that's for
sure. Reading the website, it's the same old crap
marketing he's been spouting for years now "99%
of Betfair punters constantly lose money" blah blah
blah!
PREFERENTIAL SPORTING INVESTMENTS
Having mentioned those scoundrels Millennium
Club/Shirecrest, I received a few emails on
Preferential Sporting Investments of Cheltenham.
I have no personal experience of these guys but
remain ultra cautious about this type of
"opportunity". I don't want to tar this lot with the
same brush but there are various ambiguities that
they can get away with simply because this industry
is unregulated. Projected profit is based on previous gains
"The figures we quote are based on previous results,
over a certain period of time"
Thanks for the clarification - that period of time - a
day, a week, 2 weeks? Surely we need greater
detail?
The greed monster table apparent with Shirecrest
appears again.
Your stake money £300 Gives you an expected
profit of £490 minus commission. Again the
greedmonster tells us that of we add a zero to the
above amounts we'll be laughing like a woolly
mammoth who has just won the first race at
Neanderthal Downs.
Is this a professional way to distribute funds?
"Any winnings are paid in cash sent in an unmarked
envelope" - imagine stockbrokers operating in this
manner. This is also open to abuse from the
unscrupulous " We sent your winnings, honest guv
- they're in the post!"
The above are enough evidence for me to leave
these guys alone, despite the fact that, yes, they may
be legitimate BUT Perception is reality and my
perception of them, their mail shot and the
information therein, is NOT of a professional
service that I can be wholly confident in - that's just
MY perception, my reality, and may not be THE
reality!
SYSTEMS V FLEXIBLE DIY
The past few months on my blog have shown why I
favour a flexible attitude rather than mechanical,
rigid systems based, erm, systems.
These last few days have seen a return to HTB/Price
gapper bets - why? Well because the opportunities
are appearing where they have previously been
barren. Each way bets have been difficult to
uncover because of recent race types, but level
stakes dutching is working. Laying multiple
handicap winners has been effective and football
trading has had an element of success which has
boosted profits far above the systems I have tested,
some of which have carried on making selections
regardless and have suffered through lack of
flexibility (transition to flats from jumps - softish
ground for 2 year old horses etc!)
So, it's gone with the traditional Irish music, the
pubs and the scenery and back to the view of my PC
screen in an effort to catch up and update my results
databases.
If you want a break, well this part of the world is
BOOOTIFUL but I must warn you, your liver may
be holding up the white flag after a day or two!
Have a great weekend
Clive
