Clive goes on a scambusting rant!

Hi,

Yes, this week I have become Mr Angry with all the utter
rubbish that I have been exposed to. Rubbish that
unfortunately a lot of innocent punters are still falling for!

It is with the above in mind that I have started a business
selling clouds to naïve Americans at £1000 a pop. They
get a photo of the cloud, get it named after them, and wow
us with the unique selling point - "there'll never be another
cloud like their cloud ever again."

Actually as I write a certain eBook seller is probably busy
writing a new eBook on the subject for release within the
next 2 minutes no doubt...

Yes, the 'cloud selling' is appearing in the betting systems
format - and it seems there are a lot of naïve non-
Americans falling for it.

Ok, I'm starting to rant... don't be too disheartened, there
ARE still a lot of decent betting systems out there for us to
get our teeth into - and it's my job to unearth them. It's just
the army of scamsters praying on innocent punters really
makes my blood boil sometimes!

Ok without further ado let's get onto today's systems.

***************
PREFERENTIAL SPORTING INVESTMENTS OF
CHELTENHAM
***************

Right, this one looks to be a con I'm afraid folks. Readers
have independently contacted me and told me they have
all received the same letter effectively saying: "sorry your
stakes have been lost by Preferential Sporting Investments
(PSI)".

Personally I would rearrange the I and the S and add an
OFF at the end. These guys even have the gall to sell
other systems and eBooks on the back of (apparently)
losing all those stakes. Of course you know what's
happened - they've just pocketed the stakes, sent out a
letter, and made sure they've become very difficult to
contact.

But the amazing thing is, people who have been scammed
once already have returned to buy off these people again!
It beggars belief, it really does. I can imagine them trying to
hold in their fits of laughter as they keep getting money
thrown at them in return for utter rubbish!

This is an age-old scam and is based largely around
services who'll take your money (rob more like) to "gamble"
with and will then promise to return you a profit - like the
Millenium Club who use the very same scam.

The recurring theme in all of this - LACK OF
ACCOUNTABILITY and WORLD CLASS GULLABILITY.
These people can disappear and close all communication
links immediately. They can swan off with your money and
then reappear a few months later for the next scam (as is
the case with the Pro Betfair trader - I don't want to give
his name out until I get more evidence but he is the worse
kind of scamster - a clever one!)

Never, ever, give your money to any third party for whom
you have not done any due diligence and who is NOT
accountable to an independent regulatory body who will
act on your behalf should things go awry - and things
WILL go awry! You simply don't have a leg to stand on
when entering in these relationships with people you have
never even met - the key ingredient here is GREED -
would you ever hand out cash to strangers in any other
environment?

Here's another one -

Revealed - how to make £400,000 this year!

Of course we'd all like to make an extra £1050 per day for
365 straight days without loss wouldn't we Martyn!

So why on earth are you selling a service if you can make
£400K a year? Just get 3 mates to mirror the bets you
make and turn that £400K into £1.6 MILLION. Surely that's
much easier.

He's a real shrewdy this Martyn. Yes he got 4 out of 4 on
the 22nd September including a 5/6 shot and a 4/9 shot.

Now the literature tells us he makes a 50% strike rate -
and again like Winbetriches et al, if these are the prices he
is giving, the only way you'll make £400K in a year is to
hope you marry a rich widow with a dodgy ticker.

And another thing, where are the previous results on the
website? Conspicuous by their absence! I'm hardly filled
with confidence that my £400K can be earned this year!

But hey, if you've had any positive experiences with this
system please do write in and let me know.

What I'm trying to say is please don't let the greed monster
cloud your judgement let you part with money just because
someone has written an arbitrary amount in their headline
with plenty of zeros. If you sat down to think about it, this
would require a enormously high strike rate, HUGE stakes
and the kind of consistency that will ensure £1000+ per
day average gambling on short prices like this guy seems
to do. It is NOT POSSIBLE PERIOD!

It's worth engaging the old grey matter. It's not that difficult
to realise that you won't be making nearly 1/2 a million this
year from old Martyn, the £1000 per day man!

AND HERE'S THE PIECE DE RESISTANCE (see my
French is improving!)

Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, let me
introduce you to the star attraction, the website that will
amaze and astound you...

... astound you that you've just parted with $147 that is.

Please take a bow, www.covertexchangeprofits.com -
forwarded to me by a reader yesterday.

In my opinion this is one to avoid. It's old news rehashed,
but more than that, it's a highly impractical approach to
betting. You're essentially told to attend sporting events
LIVE, with a mobile phone, and tell your mate who's
waiting on Betfair to lay that horse who's just stumbled.
The reasoning behind this it is that you will be ahead of the
Betfair punters who are using slightly time-delayed
pictures...

But this is something that we knew about from Raj Patel
and his Pro Bet Master course! And that's now doing the
rounds on the Antiques Roadshow it's so old. Quite frankly
I don't know too many people who can cart themselves up
and down the country during office hours attending
sporting events.

This is selling clouds again! How these clowns keep selling
this stuff and herald it as some wonderful "new" system I
don't know...

Actually I do know, It's simple really:

1. Get graphics for your website set up at somewhere
like www.ecoverexpert.com to give an air of
legitimacy and professionalism
2. Website copy- under no circumstance must you
tell prospective customers what your system really
involves and make sure the eBook bears no
relevance whatsoever to your website copy - this
is important now! Oh yes and also offer a
GUARANTEE (small print - getting your money
back from us may require determination on your
part and the possibility that you might lose the will
to live) - NEVER BEFORE SEEN - BLAH BLAH
BLAH - just make it up really.
3. Write an eBook - make sure it contains at least
30+ pages telling you how to switch on a
computer, brush your teeth, get to Betfair , tie your
shoe laces and any other obvious stuff they can
think of - filler filler - We NEED FILLER!
4. And so to the betting system - again see 2) - just
make sure that the eBook has nothing whatsoever
to do with your website copy and that earnings
claimed are NOT achievable at all
5. Set a price - £37 usually does it (people can't be
bothered to get refunds) BUT if you're feeling
adventurous - charge $147 - go on why not -
unfortunately there are enough people out there
who'll lap it up
6. Get your affiliate buddies to tell you this is THE
BREAKTHROUGH -THE LAST EBOOK YOU'LL EVER
NEED until the next one of course - how they've been
using it for months (despite never reading it AND how they
are now squillionaires). Now milk that crowd til they're dry
- make all requests for refunds as easy as climbing
Everest in a pair of boxer shorts and complain to ClickBank
about people who ask for refunds once they've rumbled it's
another load of horse manure - delete the website after all
the fuss has died down - and go back to number 1).

BETFAIR ARCADE
**************

With my newly found ability to sell clouds to the Americans,
I have joined up with a number of other scamsters (sorry, I
mean betting professionals) and have released my new
foolproof guide to insider exchange profits on Betfair's new
arcade game, Cluedo.

I only need 1000 people to pay me £1,000 and I will put
this syndicate together and bribe Colonel Mustard to do the
Cluedo murders. He will then give me a nod and a wink
and we can all lump on.

With the punting public giving their cash to the kind of
people mentioned above, my Cluedo insider betting
manifesto can only be a winner!

Ok, I've ranted myself hoarse (or should that be horse?) but
if this week's eletter does one thing, it should open your
eyes to the absurdity of some of the claims made in
websites and offers and give you a jolt.

The sad thing is that I could have continued writing ad
infinitum with the amount of scams (and clear scams at
that) that are abounding at the moment. It saddens me that
people are still falling for £400K earnings from betting on
horses in one year! Just do your due diligence! Ask
questions!

Don't worry, there are some actual decent people out there
willing to help AND OFFERING SOME DECENT AND
WORKABLE SYSTEMS, and I do try to expose them to
you in the midst of all the jackanory systems out there.

****************************************
OTHER SYSTEMS I'VE COME ACROSS THIS WEEK...
****************************************

Autolays:

I nearly fell off my chair with the charge for this service
£185 per month - you are having a very long necked
giraffe there surely?

This is simply the bank vault report in a
different guise. Simple as that (again nothing new under
the sun!)

Yes since my trial has started (and NO he's never getting
£185 per month from me that's for sure!) profits have been
made.

Loss retrieval on laying specific favourites, the key here is
this - CALCULATE YOUR WORSE CASE SCENARIO
BEFORE EVER GETTING INVOLVED IN THIS.

Because in some cases your loss retrieval stakes may be
as high as £2000+ on a losing cycle of 5 (where we have
selected 5 favourites to lay to lose their races BUT they
have won!). Contrast that with a target profit per day of £20
and you see that 100 days of profits can be wiped out
when a losing day occurs.

So, ring fencing a large betting bank is a prerequisite for
this service. This is one of those services which will lull you
in with consistent profits for a continued period but will bite
a large chunk out of your betting bank and negate many
many days of target profit earned when these 5 losing lays
occur. Yikes!

Already, recent results have seen a losing run of 4 before
target profit was made on the 5th bet. Stakes on the 5th bet
would have been underpant changingly big, and far too
uncomfortable in order to win that nominal £20.

If you join this service then you must take these large
stakes in hand. You must look at the worst case scenario
and prepare to follow through.

The service also automates the whole process which
scares me a little to be honest. What if we're in a cycle and
the software incorrectly places the bet? It doesn't bear
thinking about!

AND NOW A SYSTEM THAT DELIVERS
******************************

Last weeks results for the Trading secrets plan.

Won 13-2
Won 100-30
Won 9-1
Won 7-2
Won 13-2
Won 7-2

4th 14-1
3rd 8-1
2nd 10-1
2nd 14-1
2nd 11-1

8 losers.

Another good week for the plan and I think we will now see
quite a few national hunt and all weather qualifiers coming
through as the seasons get under way. I would suggest
that looking at the Betfair market in comparison to the on
course market is very important now - as certain horses
are what I would consider false prices on course.

I did mention this before and if there is a big difference
between the price on course compared to the one on
Betfair, I would be very suspicious as to whether a horse is
actually being backed. This has been discussed in the
press and it would seem that some horses are being
shortened by bookmakers with hardly a penny being
placed on them. This can be spotted if there is a big
difference in price when compared to Betfair so keep a
very close eye on these markets, especially at meetings
where the market is very weak (such as evening all
weather meetings).

Well the trial for the insider info started yesterday, with an
official no bet day. The strong word was for a bumper
favourite Strong rebel who was trading at odds on but
eventually went off at 7/4 which was, I suppose, a
backable price. I was also told about Moscow Catch in the
same race yesterday who was 2nd to Strong Rebel in a
photo finish.

So officially a no bet day because of the odds, but an
encouraging and positive start nonetheless. I look forward,
as testers to, to the performance in the next month. Let's
hope this insider information delivers and delivers
consistently!

I'm off now - I've just spotted a coach load of naïve
Americans and there's a few clouds in the sky - This time
next year, Rodders...

Have a great weekend

Clive
