Where's Dr Octopus When You Need Him?

Hi,

What a week! I have suddenly received an avalanche of
new betting systems and rather than work 23 hours 59
minutes (with 1 minutes sleep) I am doing a shout out for
anyone who could forward me Dr Octopus's email
address. I need his 3 extra pairs of arms to go through
these systems for me. My only concern with employing
Dr Octopus is his tendency to go a bit mental and then try
to take over the world, but I am sure we can work through
this.

The new systems cover a myriad of different areas of
betting, from hockey games (yes, like you this may be an
area of weakness for me!) to finally getting my hands on
The Sharp End System by Bernard Hibbert.

This system uses similar statistics to Mr Hibbert's Refuse
to Lose system and claims a very impressive strike rate.
My hope here is that this system does not get struck
down by Sportsworldpublishingitis where the claims
made on the website are, funnily enough, over
exaggerated and completely unrealistic in the real world.

I have actually been in contact with Mr Hibbert myself
and he is one of the genuine folk, a one-man band (like
yours truly UNLESS Dr Octopus consents to
employment) who has found a betting system which
focuses on favourites and has a high strike rate. I await
with interest the performance of the system over the
coming months and will report back in due course.

Mr Hibbert has also sent me his Refuse to Lose system
which is also at Sportsworld Publishing. This particular
system may not be suitable to a few, given it requires the
live betting market, and has a degree of loss retrieval to
it. I must admit, I hate trialing live market systems
because it ties me to a PC all day instead of going out to
calendar shops to procure their whole stock of Kelly
Brook calendars

John Goldsmith

I received a package from John Goldsmith this week,
called the Winners Club (Great Info Direct Ltd).

The package includes a manual entitled "Fantastic
Winning Systems" as well as another eBook called "The
Genius Racing System" - it is the latter that interests, as
my close show biz pal, compounding, is mentioned
again. Here, John has formulated a plan to make 1%
compounding per day.

This is a 'stop at a winner' method of compounding,
which differs from my approach of selecting one a day for
my compounding target profit. The system utilises
traditional bookmaker betting slips and puts selections in
order of odds, and joint favourites RATHER THAN TIME.

The concern here is whether bookmakers will actually
accept betting slips on a stop at a winner basis which are
NOT written down in time order. Something I will have to
look into with the bookmakers represented in Killarney. If
they give this kind of bet the thumbs up, then we are in
business. This kind of betting CANNOT be used online as
far as I know which is a further negative.

From a compounding perspective, all targets have been
hit by me this week form my 1.43% compounding
experiment - just "bet and go!" One selection this week
shows the power of flexibility and the live market. I
selected Maid of Ailsa mid week to place, BUT was
drawn by Spic n Span in the same race, who was heavily
backed on Betfair and slashed to 7/4 favouritism -
obviously he became my selection with this new
information on board.

I must admit I selected a 1/5 shot to place (and
remember odds are pretty much irrelevant with 1.43%
target profit. Yes the horse was ridden by Sam "whoops I
did it again" Thomas, and there was singing in the valleys
and street parties throughout the length and breadth of
Britain as Sam stayed onboard this horse and won!

So, my target profits are working great again this week. It
is a very slow process and I must keep the betting beast
firmly leashed as it keeps telling me to "LUMP ON" rather
than stake £6-10 to win a target profit and leave.

This is the same betting beast who told people to "LUMP
ON" Villa last night at 1/3 no doubt!

I will also select one system from the "Fantastic Winning
Systems" to trial and see if it performs and report back in
January.

Easy Money Betting System

A release by Benjamin Street on the back of 2 months
results - you will read that I was up to March 2008 with
my backdated results - I am slowly working through the
year and will get a better idea as to whether this is a
workable lay system or not.

It certainly is very easy to operate (as the title of the
eBook suggests)

Football Laying Code

An interesting system whose Achilles heel is the fact the
market it focuses on is not very liquid meaning we either
have to take the over inflated lay odds on offer or put up
odds of our own in line with its price cap.

Still, the selections picked are doing the business but as
you have read previously the odds can be a little big for
laying as a loss heavily impacts previous profits

http://www.golden-key-method.com/

"Like shooting fish in a barrel" comes the claims on the
website. Well, me, I have never gone much for the
shooting fish in a barrel malarkey. It all depends on the
size of the fish I suppose.

"26.68 points profits in six freaking days" - was he using
this system at Woodstock after partaking in some wacky
backy?

This system looks to focus on a certain horse, backing it
at bookmaker's "best odds" and laying at Betfair SP in
the hope that the system has selected a horse who will
shorten in the Betfair market.

The idea here is to create a "free" bet but returns of
course will be marginal to account for whether lost stake
when backing and the horse has lost, OR lost liability
when laying and the horse wins.

It is a very interesting concept indeed and, as advertised,
is low risk, but it's not something I would personally
entertain (my personal choice which in no way negates
the potential of the system). From a practical perspective,
you would need to open bookmaker accounts at all
bookmakers shown on Oddschecker to ensure that you
get the "best odds" to back.

Does this system interest anyone who can reliably test it
for me? Get in touch.

Fibo Returns!

Yes my old school pal Fibonacci returns with a system
recommended by a reader called the "O'Neil Formula"
which focuses, again on looking to win a set amount per
day by backing certain selections in a quadrant using
Fibonacci staking (now that Carol Vorderman will be
looking for work, I'm going to have to get her help as this
system hurts my brain) Still it must be investigated (that's
if my brain doesn't explode before then) and I will report
back.

So as you can see, a ton of systems to work through, not
to mention Symbiotic Lays (what a badly written eBook)
and a few others.

The footy systems are at
www.soccerbettingmoneymaker.blogspot.com. As far as
www.oversandundersbetting.com is concerned, I
personally feel this system would be better suited by us
making a single selection in any football kick off time
period (e.g. 1 selection at 3pm, one selection at 5pm, one
selection at 730pm etc) - this way the staking plan can be
used. Just a thought.

I'm off now to help Dr Octopus get a date - now he's an
employee I need to look after him, and having 8 arms
and a reputation as a bit of a home wrecker (well, more of
a city wrecker) his self esteem has taken a hit! Hopefully,
with his help I'll be able to track these systems and more,
and still have time to stuff my face with mince pies.

Have a great weekend.

Clive
