I'd like to be, under the sea...

Hi,

I'd like to be, under the sea...

In Paul the psychic octopus’s garden in the shade!

Yes, folks, I have been outdone by a psychic cephalopod this World
Cup.

Paul the Octopus has correctly predicted the winners of all of
Germany’s matches during this World Cup, including Spain’s victory
in the semi finals!

And I thought it was just a gimmick! How silly am I?

Had I followed Paul when he first came to prominence I would have
cleaned up, particularly as he predicted the unlikely Serbian
victory over Germany at decent match odds.

Having spotted this niche in the market, I am currently in
discussion with another octopus, and a lobster in the hope that we
can launch a sea themed tipping service for the new Football
Season. I promise you – we’ll be squids in!!

I was a little disappointed that Paul the Octopus did not turn up
for any of the World Cup Chats. I suppose he was a traditional
bettor rather than a trader.

Well there are only 2 matches left in this World Cup and I must
say that I have enjoyed the Live Chats immensely and learned a few
new strategies too such as double dipping, the 20 minute goal
trade, correct score dutching trading, and much more. I hope I can
distil these for you over the coming months in time for the new
Football Season.

With Football firmly in mind, I met up with a reader who happened
to be passing through Castleisland mid week. It was a great chat.
We talked predominantly about football trading and I also
introduced him to reading the betting markets - all of the betting
markets – Betfair, Sporting life live shows and the bookmaker’s
market in tandem with the Racing Post Betting Forecast.

And what did I show him? None other than a 33/1 winner in the first
race of the day! 215 NEWTON ABBOTT OPENING MEET wins after
qualifying under the Smoke and Mirror rules, and it reminded me
what an important skill reading all of the betting markets can be.

You really will have a distinct advantage if you can read the
betting markets, using systems that I have shared with you for
free such as the 16/1 system, the “all red” system, and how to
read the Betfair markets, and other paid for systems like the
Smoke and Mirrors system. All of these in tandem can help uncover
winners like that 33/1 shot (imagine the Betfair odds!) There may
be the odd losing run (as is the case with huge odds selections)
but I think there is enough scope for anyone who can follow the
betting markets to profit regularly

I will be doing some videos on this in the near future, taking you
through a day of reading the betting market, and you will be
alerted when that occurs.

New releases
-------------

With the trading theme in mind, I have been asked to investigate
two cricket trading manuals which have been recently released and
will be doing so this week. I know little about cricket as it is
an unappealing spectacle to these eyes, but if there’s cash in
them there wickets, then I’m willing to follow up.

The Betfair Pirate.
-------------------

You can’t have failed to notice the hype behind this automated
betting bot Betfair Pirate [www.betfairpirate.com], and I hope to
be able to secure a trial by next week. I want to know if it is
backing or laying. If it is the latter, and has been marketed by
all and sundry, then there may be a huge liability issue as bots
lay the same selections thus unnaturally increasing the prices.

I am yet to ascertain whether the bot is a lay bot so this is just
conjecture. There is talk of liability within the marketing blurb
but that may simply be a method of explaining how much is at risk
at any one time. So, look out for an update on this.

Plenty for me to chew over this coming week. World Cup Final on
Sunday.

Who’s going to win? Holland or Spain. There’s only one way to find
out.......................

FIGHT!!

Have a great weekend
